Building a New York Immigration Law Firm Website: Start with 50 Keywords

When creating a website, many law firms begin by reaching out to a web designer with the mindset: "Let's get the site built first and figure things out later." However, if your goal is to generate organic traffic and attract high-intent clients, the true first step is not design—it is keyword analysis. Broad search terms like "New York immigration lawyer" or "US immigration attorney" carry significant search volume, but they are also fiercely competitive. For a new website, targeting these generic keywords right out of the gate requires high costs, long timelines, and no guarantee of meaningful results. To solve this, we start with a curated list of 50 keywords, analyzing them by search volume, competitive difficulty, and user intent before organizing them into distinct categories. A portion of these keywords serves as the foundation for baseline organic traffic; another segment targets local searches and high-intent queries; and specific, high-value practice areas—such as EB-1A, H-1B, and asylum writs of mandamus—are given dedicated practice area landing pages. Analyze how potential clients search first, then build the website to match that demand. Keyword analysis functions as the architectural blueprint for your site. Building a site without a blueprint risks costly structural changes later if you realize the foundational strategy was wrong. If you are a New York law firm looking to increase your Google search visibility and generate qualified prospective clients, starting with a 50-keyword analysis is the proven path forward. #NewYorkImmigrationLawyer #ImmigrationLawyerWebsite #LawFirmWebsite #WebsiteDesign #WebsiteDevelopment #SEO #GoogleRanking #NewYorkSEO #LawyerSEO #KeywordAnalysis #USImmigrationLawyer #NewYorkLawyer #FlushingLawyer #USLawyer #DigitalMarketing

How to Bring an American Website Back to Life

We took on a website for an American client and spent 33 days making over 100 revisions. Here is what we accomplished: Rebuilt the entire website from the ground up Custom-developed both the frontend and backend Built a custom membership and payment system Redesigned the website's core business logic Designed UI tailored to real user behavior and scenarios Executed a complete visual redesign Completed foundational SEO and Google indexing preparations Ensured full client ownership and control of their server architecture So why did it take 33 days? Because this was never about "spending one or two hundred dollars to slap a few webpages together." It was a comprehensive overhaul covering business logic, user trust, UI/UX design, frontend and backend development, user authentication, payment processing, reward points systems, mobile optimization, SEO, Google indexing, and server deployment. Some might ask: "It's just a website—why can't it be cheaper?" The reality is that a website built to serve your business long-term requires a deep understanding of your industry, customers, and commercial model. It demands full-stack engineering, seamless mobile experience, SEO readiness, and continuous communication, revisions, and testing. The cost of building a digital asset at this standard simply cannot compare to a $100 template job. The biggest issue with cheap websites isn't just poor design; it's that they mislead business owners into believing a dangerous myth: "Websites don't work and can't bring in real clients." A high-quality website can serve your business for 5, 10, or even more years. The true metric to consider is how much value it generates for your business over time—not the few hundred dollars saved upfront. #WebsiteDesign #WebsiteDevelopment #USWebsite #NewYorkWebDesign #USBusiness #USEntrepreneurship #SEO #GoogleRanking #WebsiteBuilding #DigitalMarketing #LocalSEO #USLocalBusiness #ClientAcquisition #OnlineMarketing #WebsiteOperations

Doing business in the U.S.? This is how many business owners are quietly losing customers…

When many Chinese business owners build a website, their first thought is: “Isn’t an English website enough?” But there’s a very real issue in the U.S. market — your customers may not speak only English. One potential customer may prefer searching in Chinese; another may be more comfortable using Spanish; and millions of others primarily use English. If a customer visits your website and can’t understand the content, feels that the website looks unprofessional, or simply leaves, you may never even know why you lost that customer. That’s why more and more businesses serving the U.S. market are considering a trilingual website in Chinese, English, and Spanish. 🌎 One Website 🇺🇸 Three Languages 🎯 Reach More Local Customers Across the U.S. And it’s not simply about translating Chinese into English and Spanish and calling it a day. A truly professional trilingual website also needs to take into account SEO, Google search rankings, mobile user experience, keyword strategies for different languages, and the browsing habits of customers who speak different languages. For local businesses such as restaurants, contractors, law firms, real estate companies, medical practices, beauty salons, auto businesses, cleaning services, and more, a trilingual website can be a major upgrade to your customer acquisition strategy. Want to know how much a trilingual website costs, how it’s built, or how to structure your SEO strategy? What is it like to build a website for a company preparing to go public?

Recently, Mr. Jiang has been preparing to take his company public—and our team was honored to build his official web platform. A business owner surrounded by six vendors all talking at once, covering her ears

From searched to chosen

One team, end to end — no more finger-pointing

Philosophy has three ultimate questions: who are you, where do you come from, where are you going? Running a business has one of its own: where do your customers come from? For most owners, marketing has been chopped into pieces — website development from one shop, search optimization from another, ad campaigns from a third, social media management left to a cousin. The orders still do not come, every vendor tells a different story — their part is fine, the problem is next door — and the owner is left with nobody to hold responsible.

Star Web Media untangles all of it and hands you one package:

  1. A trilingual website, so the foundation is right
  2. SEO, so you get found
  3. GEO / AI search optimization, so you get cited
  4. Google ranking, so you get seen
  5. Social media management, so you get remembered
  6. Paid advertising, so the right buyers come to you

Website, search, maps, social, ads — one team owns all of it, so the traffic turns into customers and your numbers go through the roof.

Services

Six services, all aimed at one thing: bringing in traffic and customers

Take them together or start with the one that is holding you back.

What sets us apart

Why we insist on trilingual websites

English, Spanish and Chinese are the three most spoken languages in the United States. In New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, Boston, Seattle, Chicago or Washington especially, the people walking into your business do not all speak the same one. A site in a single language quietly shuts the other two groups out.

So every website we deliver ships with three complete versions: English, Spanish and Chinese. Not a translate plugin doing it live — that reads badly to people and counts for little with Google. Each language is written on its own, with its own URLs, its own titles and descriptions, and its own keywords.

  1. Three separate URL trees — /en/, /zh/, /es/ — so every page can be indexed and shared on its own
  2. Automatic routing by browser language: English, Chinese or Spanish speakers all land in their own version
  3. Each language written from scratch, not run through a translate plugin
  4. Trilingual is the standard build, not an upsell

What we are good at

Why we build the mobile version too

Nobody looking for a restaurant, a law firm, a clinic or a salon goes home and opens a computer any more. Nine times out of ten they pull out a phone. They may be standing on the sidewalk, sitting in a car or walking down the street while they compare reviews, service and price. What they want is a number that dials with one tap, an address that opens directions, and hours they can read at a glance.

Plenty of websites are still stuck in the desktop era: the desktop layout gets squeezed onto a phone screen, it takes two fingers to make the text readable, the phone number will not dial, and the form gets abandoned halfway through. A site with no real mobile version simply hands those customers to your competitor.

And here is what most owners do not know: since 2019, Google has scored and ranked websites on the mobile version only — not the desktop one. It even tests on 3G/4G network conditions with a mid-range phone. Fast on a computer counts for nothing; if the mobile version is rough or slow, your desktop rankings fall with it. So we build mobile-first — our phone version comes with its own navigation bar built in, and looks and works every bit as well as the desktop one. That is where we are strong.

  1. Mobile-first design: the phone version has its own navigation bar built in, and looks and works as well as the desktop one
  2. Easy to use on a phone: one tap to call, one tap for directions, phone and address where a thumb can reach them
  3. Fast on a phone: opens in seconds even on cellular data
  4. The mobile version is standard: no extra charge

The details we handle

We take accessibility compliance off your plate

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 required places open to the public not to shut disabled people out — ramps at the door, doorways wide enough to get through. Websites later came under the same law. Several thousand web accessibility claims are now filed in the US every year, and New York is where the largest share of them is filed. By now it is an industry: most defendants are not big brands but restaurants, clinics, law offices and retail shops. A plaintiff does not have to prove bad intent — only that a screen reader cannot complete a booking or a checkout, and the business can end up defending itself in court. The ones who get the letter usually have a site thrown together years ago and never touched since. Star Web Media pays attention to the details: accessibility has been a required step in our build process from the start.

And it is not only about risk. By the CDC’s figures, roughly one in four US adults lives with some kind of disability. Not every one of those affects using a website — the relevant ones are vision, hearing, dexterity and cognition — but add everyone whose eyesight or hand steadiness is going with age and it is a large group of paying customers. If they cannot get into your site, they go somewhere else.

  1. Built to the WCAG 2.1 AA standard, not patched after the fact
  2. Measured before handover, with the results written into your delivery report
  3. No fobbing you off with an accessibility widget — some do not meet the standard and get used as evidence by plaintiffs
  4. The semantic structure, alt text and heading order the standard requires help SEO as well
  5. And it holds on to a large group of customers with disabilities

Trilingual website design

Your website is not a business card.
It is your 24-hour sales team.

A visitor decides in a few seconds whether your business looks credible. Slow loading, dated layouts and a phone number buried three clicks deep quietly send that visitor to a competitor.

We design around the decision, not around decoration: what the visitor needs to see, in what order, and how they contact you when they are convinced. And one thing comes as standard: every site we build ships in English, Chinese and Spanish — three real versions, not a translate plugin.

  • English, Chinese and Spanish — three complete versions, delivered together
  • Mobile-first layouts, because most local searches happen on a phone
  • Clean URLs, correct heading structure and metadata from day one
  • Accessible to WCAG 2.1 AA — the standard US lawsuits are settled against

How we build

The day we hand over the site, this is already done

Plenty of agencies build the site, then sell you SEO, then sell you an accessibility retrofit. We do not work that way — the following is standard, at no extra charge.

01

Multilingual is what we are good at

English, Chinese and Spanish as three complete versions, each with its own URLs and its own keyword research. Not a translate button. In New York your customers already speak three languages.

02

SEO is built in, not added later

Clean URLs, heading hierarchy, unique title and description per page, sitemap and robots, structured data and internal links. On launch day the site is already legible to search engines.

03

GEO — AI search — done at the same time

Consistent business facts everywhere, correct markup, and content shaped around the questions buyers actually ask, so ChatGPT and Gemini are willing to name you in an answer.

04

Accessibility to WCAG 2.1 AA

Full keyboard operation, contrast that passes, alt text on images, real labels on form fields, motion you can switch off. Not an overlay widget bolted on to look compliant.

05

Speed and Core Web Vitals

Compressed images, the hero image preloaded, and a layout that does not jump while it loads. On a phone, one extra second is a batch of customers who never called.

06

Enquiries actually reach you

A contact form with layered spam defence, a tap-to-call number, and a visible way to contact you on every screen. The email lands in your inbox instead of disappearing.

What growth actually takes

A website is only the beginning.

Customers do not arrive because a site exists. They arrive because your business shows up in the search, the map, the feed and the AI answer at the moment they are deciding.

SEO

Be there when someone searches for what you sell

Search is where demand announces itself. Someone typing "emergency dentist near me" is not browsing — they are choosing. SEO decides whether they see you or the shop two blocks away.

We start with the technical foundation, then keyword research in the language your customers use, then content and internal linking that make the pages rank and read well.

  • Keyword research per language and per neighborhood
  • Technical SEO: crawling, indexing, speed, structured data
  • Content built for the question behind the search
  • Monthly reporting from Google Search Console — your data, not our screenshots

GEO — Generative Engine Optimization

Search is no longer only Google

A growing share of buyers now ask an AI assistant first: "Who is a reliable contractor in Flushing?" The assistant answers with a short list. If your business is not in it, you were never in the running.

GEO is the work of making your brand legible to those systems: consistent facts, structured data, authoritative content and third-party mentions they can verify.

  • Consistent business facts across every source AI reads
  • Structured data and entity clarity
  • Question-shaped content that answers what buyers actually ask
  • Monitoring of how assistants describe your brand and your competitors

Google ranking & local SEO

Rank on Google — in the map pack and in the results below it

When someone searches for what you do, there are two places you can show up: the three businesses on the map at the top, and the search results underneath. For a restaurant, a clinic or a contractor, that map pack is often worth more than the whole first page — it is the shortlist people call from.

We optimize the Business Profile itself, the local signals around it and the review habit that keeps it moving, then track rankings from the neighborhoods you actually serve. The results underneath are carried by the same foundation — that side is covered under SEO.

  • Google Business Profile: categories, services, photos, posts
  • Local landing pages for the areas you serve
  • Citation clean-up so your name, address and phone match everywhere
  • A review process your staff can realistically keep up
Brand content panels for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and RedNote

Social media

Be searched for. Also be seen, followed and shared.

Search captures people who already know what they want. Social reaches the ones who do not yet — and gives everyone else a reason to trust you before they call.

We run each platform for what it is actually good at, from one content plan, so you are not inventing posts on a Sunday night.

  • Facebook — local community, events and offers
  • Instagram — the visual case for your brand
  • TikTok — short video that reaches beyond your existing followers
  • RedNote — recommendation-led reach for Chinese-speaking customers
A group of customers holding out cash toward the camera in a blue-lit data center corridor

Digital advertising

Spend the budget on people who could actually become customers

Advertising is the fastest way to test whether an offer works. It is also the fastest way to lose money when nobody is watching which searches, audiences and creatives are producing enquiries.

We build campaigns around intent, keep the wasted spend out, and judge everything by cost per enquiry rather than by impressions.

  • Google Ads for demand that already exists
  • RedNote, Facebook and TikTok for demand you have to create
  • Landing pages built to match the ad, not the homepage
  • Conversion tracking configured before the first dollar is spent

Our work

How we approach a project

Every engagement follows the same structure: understand the business, fix the foundation, then build visibility. Published results with client names and numbers are added here as clients approve them.

Industries

Different industries need different acquisition strategies

A restaurant lives on the map and the feed. A law firm lives on search intent and trust. We start from how your customers actually choose.

Why Star Web Media

Why businesses stay with us

We are not trying to be the cheapest vendor for one deliverable. We are trying to be the team that owns your online growth.

We are always there

There when you open the doors, and there when it gets hard. Business has slow seasons; we are not the kind that shows up in the good ones and disappears in the rest.

One team, one plan

Website, SEO, GEO, Maps, social and ads under one roof — no finger-pointing between vendors.

Search and AI together

We work traditional search and the new AI answer surfaces at the same time, because your buyers use both.

Judged on one number

Our question is not "how much traffic" but "how many people in your area actually contacted you".

Data you can check

Reporting comes from the Search Console, Business Profile and ad accounts you own.

We tell you straight

If a channel is not worth your money yet, we say so instead of selling it to you.

How we work

Five steps, repeated every quarter.

Discover

Your customers, your margins, your competitors and what is already working.

Strategize

A written plan: channels, priorities, timelines and what success looks like.

About us

Why we are called Star Web Media

Anyone walking at night looks up, finds a star and knows which way to go. Running a business has nights too: the rent goes out on time, the customers do not come in, and the money you spend makes no sound coming back.

Star Web Media is based in Flushing, New York. What we do is concrete — make sure the customers already looking for you can find you in search, on the map, in the feed and in the answer an AI gives. We are here when you open, and we are here when it gets hard.

FAQ

Questions we get in the first meeting

How long does a website take?

A focused business site is usually a few weeks from kickoff to launch, assuming content and photos are available. Larger or multilingual sites take longer, and we give you a written schedule before starting rather than a guess on the phone.

How long before SEO shows results?

Technical fixes can show up in weeks. Competitive rankings are a matter of months, and anyone promising page one in 30 days is either buying ads or guessing. We report progress monthly from your own Search Console so you can see movement before revenue arrives.

What is the difference between SEO and GEO?

SEO is about ranking in a list of links. GEO is about being included in an answer written by an AI assistant. They share a foundation — accurate facts, clear structure, real content — but GEO puts more weight on consistency across sources and on being cited by others.

Do I have to buy everything at once?

No. Most clients start with the piece that is blocking them — usually the website or the Business Profile — and add channels once that is producing. We will tell you if a channel is not worth your budget yet.

Free marketing review

Not sure how much growth your website is leaving on the table?

Send us your website and industry. We will review your site, search visibility, Google Maps presence and social footprint, and tell you the three things worth fixing first.
