FAQ

Questions we are asked most

If your question is not here, email us — we answer within one business day.

How long does a website take to build?

A focused business site is usually a few weeks from kickoff to launch, assuming content and photos are ready. Multilingual or larger sites take longer. You get a written schedule before we start rather than an estimate over the phone.

How long before SEO shows results?

Technical fixes can show within weeks. Competitive rankings take months. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is either buying ads or guessing. We report monthly from your own Search Console so you can see movement well before revenue changes.

What is the difference between GEO and SEO?

SEO earns you a position in a list of links. GEO earns you a mention inside an answer written by an AI assistant. They share a foundation — accurate facts, clean structure, real content — but GEO puts more weight on consistency across sources and being cited elsewhere.

Why is my website not showing up on Google?

The common causes are: the pages are not indexed, the site is too new or too thin to compete, the content does not match what people search for, or duplicate URLs are splitting its authority. An audit identifies which applies to you.

Why is my Google Maps ranking poor?

Ranking on the map comes from relevance, distance and prominence. In practice the gap is usually prominence: fewer reviews, inconsistent listings across the web, or a weaker website behind the profile.

How should I optimize my Google Business Profile?

Complete every field, choose categories precisely, list services individually, add real photos regularly, post updates, and answer reviews — including the negative ones. Most profiles we audit are half-filled and never updated.

SEO or Google Ads — which should I do?

Ads buy visibility immediately and stop when payment stops. SEO takes months and then keeps working. Most local businesses run ads while SEO matures, then rebalance once organic rankings hold.

Which businesses should be on RedNote?

Businesses serving Chinese-speaking customers who research before choosing — restaurants, beauty, medical, education, travel. If that is not your customer base, we will tell you rather than sell you an account.

What kind of business suits TikTok?

Anything with something to show: food, spaces, transformations, craftsmanship, or a person worth listening to. Businesses selling a purely abstract service usually get more from search.

Can SEO, GEO and Google Maps run at the same time?

Yes, and they should. They share the same foundation of accurate data and good content, so running them together costs much less than running them as three separate projects.

Does a website need maintenance after launch?

Yes. Content ages, browsers change, security patches matter, and search engines re-evaluate constantly. A site left untouched for two years usually loses ground to competitors who kept publishing.

What is the advantage of a trilingual website?

You compete for searches your competitors ignore. Each language has its own keywords and its own competition — often far less of it — and a visitor reading in their own language is significantly more likely to contact you.

Do you work with businesses outside New York?

Yes. Our local expertise is strongest in the New York area, but the website, SEO, GEO and advertising work is not geographically limited.

What does it cost?

It depends on scope, and we do not publish numbers we cannot stand behind. Tell us what you need and you will get a written quote — including our view on where you should not spend money yet.
