Home/Google Ranking

Let the customers nearby
find you on Google.

Search locally and three businesses appear above everything else, with the regular results underneath. We work on both positions — and keep you there.

Local search

The map pack is the shortlist

When someone searches with local intent, Google shows three businesses on a map before it shows anything else. For most local services, those three positions matter more than the entire page beneath them.

Getting there is not luck. It comes from relevance, distance and prominence — and two of those three are things we can work on directly.

  • Relevance — does your profile clearly match what was searched
  • Prominence — reviews, mentions, consistency and site authority
  • Distance — which is why service areas and local pages matter

Scope

What we do on Google Maps

Business Profile optimization

Categories, services, attributes, description and hours, completed properly rather than half-filled.

Photo and post strategy

A steady stream of real photos and updates, which affects both ranking and whether someone chooses you.

Local keyword targeting

The terms searched in your neighborhood, reflected in your profile and site.

Citation building & clean-up

Name, address and phone matching everywhere — old and wrong listings are a common invisible cap.

Review strategy

A process your staff can run daily, plus response templates that read like a person wrote them.

Local landing pages

Real pages for the areas you serve, not a list of town names stuffed into a footer.

Competitor gap analysis

Why the three businesses above you are there, and what would move you up.

Rank tracking by area

Map rankings measured from the neighborhoods you serve, not from a national average.

Multi-location management

Consistent profiles across every branch, without cannibalising each other.

Business Profile

Your profile is often visited more than your website

For local businesses, most people decide inside Google: they look at the photos, skim the reviews, check that you are open, and tap call. Your website is the second stop, if there is one at all.

So we treat the profile as a storefront that deserves the same attention as the site.

  • Every field completed, including the ones most businesses skip
  • Services and products listed individually so they can match searches
  • Reviews answered — including the bad ones, carefully
  • Photos updated on a schedule, because stale profiles slip

FAQ

Google Maps questions

Why is my competitor ranking above me on the map?

Usually prominence: more reviews, more consistent listings, a stronger website, or a profile that simply matches the search better. A gap analysis shows which of those is the actual difference in your case.

Do reviews really change rankings?

Review volume, recency and responses are all part of prominence, and they clearly affect whether someone chooses you once they see the pack. We set up a process instead of asking you to chase reviews personally.

I do not have a storefront. Can I still rank?

Yes — service-area businesses can rank in the areas they serve, with a correctly configured profile and real local pages. The setup is different from a storefront and doing it wrong can get a profile suspended.

How long does local SEO take?

Profile fixes can move things in weeks. Building prominence — reviews, citations, links, content — is a matter of months. Local is usually the fastest channel to show movement.
